MarkoBarthel
Looks nice...but nearly 25.000 polys for this stage of construction is very high! Marko
MVEsperanza
Is it really? ive tried deleting the lines that i thought werent needed but i have the hull sompercise in certain sections that it deletes parts of the hull
MarkoBarthel
Mh...did you have also deleted the remaining vertices after deleting the edges? I think 15.000 or less would be a good score at this point. But she looks really good! Marko
MVEsperanza
Thanks, Um remeber i dont really know how to do this i might need some more training lol
RobertNeath
Very nice work! Yes I agree, 25,000 is very high, this is the problem with Sketchup it creates highpoly models. Hence why most modelers now use Gmax or maya. Dom's wonderful Sacha model is around 500,000 polys i use to be able to get around 30-40fps more compared to you Mv Esperanza which i got around 20 O_o .Spooks Orca is around 200K polys. But other than this problem great work. As long as she's below the QE then I'll be happy Robert
MVEsperanza
lol Spooks orca is around 140,000 Polys not
