Hey Guys, Well slighly off topic but I've done it! As you guys know I'm sailing on P&O's Azura this around the Canary Islands which will be my first cruise. Now...... I've booked my second cruise for next year and will be a once in a lifetime event. Next year Royal Caribbeans Oasis of the Seas is visiting Europe & Southampton for the first time and only time. First she will sail from Florida to Barcelona to offer cruises around the Med before heading up to Rotterdam. IT is likely to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. That’s the message from the UK’s head of cruise company Royal Caribbean following news that the world’s largest cruise ship is to visit Southampton next year. Oasis of the Seas will arrive in the Hampshire port on October 14, making her not only the largest cruise ship ever to visit the port, but a whopping 40 per cent larger than anything that has gone before. Oasis arrives in the UK after carrying out a number of short cruises out of Barcelona. She will leave Southampton to sail straight back to the US, taking British passengers among the 6,400 she can accommodate. “Oasis is to go to Rotterdam’s dry docks as part of her five-year life cycle maintenance programme and that has given us the opportunity to showcase her in European waters. We’re delighted we can do this, but there are no plans as yet for any other visits.” I just thought I'd share this with you guys Should be Great! Robert

When using VSF for Task Forces I try and make it as real as possible Thankfully it is possible for VSF. Here's an idea of what my Carrier Strike Groups are like. Each of the escort ships I place between 5-15nm away from the carrier apart from a few escorts. And a few from the Air wing P.S Sorry for being off topic Robert

Hey Guys, Sorry for the late update been busy recently :/ Day 12: Southampton We arrived in Southampton Water just after 6:45am, we then procceded up towards Fawley Power station Adonia P&Os smaller ship is in port already along with the MV Atlantic of Oceanic Cruise Lines. Here we can see the Red Eagle departing Southampton for East Cowes on the Isle of White. A local "ship spotter" who was up early watching the ships come in, kindly sent me this photo of us arriving. Adonia berthed at the QE2 Terminal Maneuvering into the Ocean Terminal. Town Quay & the MV Atlantic Ocean Terminal The "spotter" also sent me this picture as he was able to get across to Town Quay before us from Hythe. We were finally off the ship just before 10am. And there you have it! I hope you have enjoyed this Virtual Cruise aboard Azura. If you have a favorite part let me know what it is! Also if you do like it then I may do a shorter Virtual trip in the future. I do have an idea for one: A high-speed crossing from Guernsey to Jersey on Condor Express. Thanks Marko! I mainly got this Virtual Cruise topic idea from the Flight Sim forums! Here's a topic I created while I was flying for Flyuk: http://www.flightsimworld.com/forums/topic/199464-skyways-flight-022/ Day 8: Lanzarote contiued. We decided to spend most of the day at a nearby beach a few miles up the coast from the port. With only a light westerly breeze and hardly any clouds the temperature topped 30c! We headed back to the ship at around 3.30pm While droping our bags and goods off at our cabin the Astoria was seen departing or Tenerife Coaches returning from their excursions as the ship is preparing for departure Leaving the warm Canaries sun. Tomrrow is a sea day will give us time to reboost our strength! Then on Tuesday is our final port of call Lisbon. Until tomorrow! Robert
