  2. Yes...this is really awesome! Thx for the link! Marko
  3. I really like the first one! Marko
  4. No need to apologize Robert! Really nice Carrier Strike Group shots. Looks like a lot of fun. Marko
  5. I use currently the Developer version for testing. But I will switch to the Academic version if this version also contains the SDK. Here is a version comparison of the licenses. Marko
  6. Hi John, thank you for the link. I'm always very impressed by such projects. But I personally think Blitz3d is a bad choice for such a project. A free programmed application is the best solution for a complex simulator. Because Blitz3d has to many limitations. Marko
  7. Yes, VStep focuses more in professional development. Unfortunately the support for the home user lacks. Should come a new ShipSim from VStep I hope they are improves the support. Because the ShipSim series is a interesting market for addon developers. And thus also more interesting for the home user. I think a new Sim based on a planetary render like the Outerra engine is the option for us. And a physics based water engine. Marko
  8. The SSE water is amazing. It is the DX 10 water from the NVidia SDK based on DirectX. The Danger from the Deep water is based on Opengl for multiplatform capability. With a better scenery representation SSE would be the best Ship Simulator. Unfortunately, the scenery in SSE looks very artificial. Marko
  9. With all escorts ships and subs of the Task Force. That would be awesome. Marko
  10. Hi John, yes I have tried Danger from the Deep years ago. The graphic especially the water looks really great for a open source title. I'll also have to agree, it would be a great basis for further developments. Marko
  11. Hi MV, have you tried to start Outerra with admin rights? OT downloaded the newest version and the terrain data at startup. Hey Toni, if the ships are officially supported by Eagle Dynamics, I'll take a look again. The major advantage of DCS World is the scripting engine. This allows very realistic vehicles as well as in Outerra and FSX / P3D. Regards Marko
  12. Hi Toni, DCS is a fantastic war gaming environment. I really like this engine. But I put my focus to the FSX / Prepar3d environment and Outerra. And I also think it's really interesting to put Ship and Subs mods in the new Arma 3 engine. Marko
  13. Nice pictures Robert. Is this the Project Airbus A380? Marko
  14. I think the answer of this question is in the video. Marko
  15. It's a Tech Demo from NVidia. It is a further development of the DX11 water. I hope to see this engine in the next NVidia SDK. Marko
  16. N I C E! Great looking shots Robert. Marko
  17. Hi Robert...the next great updates! Great shots. Marko
  18. A sneak peak of the Beaufort Real-Time Ocean Engine. A water engine with real wind-dependent waves. I hope we can get the source code like the NVidia DX 11 Water-Demo. Marko This post has been promoted to an article
  19. No Problem looks nice! And nice update Robert! Marko
